I swear I reblog this every month.
This is gonna be a good ass month.
My first hearty laugh of the day!
Forever Love by Tom Ford
“I am tired of the cult of youth. The cultural rejection of old age, the stigmatization of wrinkles, grey hair, of bodies furrowed by the years. I am fascinated by (….) women who have let time embrace them…. “
beautiful :) age with grace
Makes me smile :)
I want to get inked. But not because I think it’s cool. I want a tattoo which means something to me. It’s a big commitment, carrying it around for the rest of my life.
I’m so glad I didn’t get one when I was younger!
At 12, it’d have read Nick Carter or Ronan Keating. Maybe Aqua or Spice Girls. (Imagine the horror)
At 15, it would probably have been “College Rocks” (Ya, we start college at that age)
At 18, in all likelihood, it’d read “Teenaga 4eva” (Spelt exactly like that)
At 21, boyfriend dearest would have inspired an arrow shot through the heart, butterflies, stars and the like.
At 25, I’d look for something more “real”. An Alpha to Omega in Greek letters to symbolize my love for experience - all of it. Happiest highs and lowest lows. (This one still appeals by the way. That’s why, no criticism there)
But now I think I know what I want. I want my mom to write my name or a short letter and I want it engraved on my person forever.
For as a single parent - all the princess she treats me like, for all the sacrifices she made, for all the lovely things I owe her and for all the rockstar she is…
